King Krule teases new music on the horizon

Two years on from his 2017 album The Ooz, King Krule (aka Archy Marshall) has new music on the way, taking to Instagram with the announcement of his return.

King Krule posted a photo on the social media site of himself in the studio playing the guitar, with a short but exciting caption “Nxt rcrds comin”. The image was taken by photographer and Marshall’s partner Charlotte Patmore (whom he welcomed his first child with this year) at EVE, a Manchester-based recording studio.

Two years since The Ooz, the red-headed and artfully reserved King Krule is back in the studio and teasing new music.

The Instagram post does not give much away and the status of the album is still unknown, however, it looks the artist is not wasting any time with this creation since the release of his celebrated 2017 LP.

Since his sophomore album The Ooz, Marshall has released visual accompaniments to the studio album’s tracks Biscuit Town, Czech One and Dumb Surfer, as well as a 30-minute short film of short interstellar performances from the album titled Live On The Moon paired with a vinyl release in March 2018.

In the meantime, stay tuned for updates on the anticipated album follow-up and check out Marshall’s Instagram post below:
