Dive into the life changing singles ‘California’ & ‘Beaches’

Stevan is wrapping up 2023 with a double dose of musical sunshine in the form of A/B side singles, “California” and “Beaches.”

After a busy year of making music and hitting the road, singer-songwriter and producer Stevan is closing out 2023 with a pair of new singles, “California” and “Beaches.” These tracks bring a warm blend of wavy guitar riffs and melodic vibes, rounding out the alternative indie vibe found in his EP “Loners Club.”

In Stevan’s own words, “California is about all the traveling I’ve been doing, and searching for a place that feels like home. I wrote Beaches after having a life-changing swim. It was so good I was moved to write a song about it.”

It’s a sentiment that resonates with anyone who has experienced the laid-back vibes of the West Coast – although not many of us could turn it into a catchy tune.

Earlier this year, Stevan dropped the six-track EP “Loners Club,” featuring hits like “Hello Goodbye,” “Reptilian,” “If She Stays,” and the title track “Loners Club.” The EP showcased Stevan’s exploration of a bold new musical identity.

Stevan has been on the move, playing shows and winning over audiences while supporting MAY-A, headlining gigs in Sydney and Melbourne, and taking the stage at festivals like SXSW Sydney, Yours & Owls, and Clearly Music, Art & Wellness Festival.

Globally acclaimed, Stevan has over 10 million streams across his catalog. He’s shared stages with notable acts such as The Rubens, Winston Surfshirt, and Omar Apollo, and has performed at major events like Splendour in The Grass and Bigsound.

Collaborations with Cosmo’s Midnight and Budjerah add to his musical repertoire, and recent studio sessions with Peking Duk and Kwame have fans eagerly anticipating what’s next.

Stevan’s journey from a quiet emergence to a globally recognized artist is a testament to self-discovery. Avoiding the hype, he enters this next chapter with newfound confidence, surrounded by a support system that believes in his vision.

After signing with Purple Phase/Warner Music Australia, 2022 saw Stevan rise with releases like “CRASH Ft Tommy Richman,” “AUTO,” and “DRIVING,” a trio that marked his recalibration to the core of his musical identity.

As Stevan rides the sonic waves into 2023, it’s evident that he’s not just following trends – he’s shaping them. So, get ready for the next chapter in Stevan’s musical journey; it’s one you won’t want to miss.
