The Sydney Comedy festival has confirmed a very full 2019 program, with more than 70 acts joining the list of local and international talent. Amongst them are You Am I, resurrecting their much loved This Is Spinal Tap tribute show as part of their Australian tour.
Also on the bill is award-winning comedian Cassie Workman performing Giantess, Cam Knight’s latest Beast on a Leash, and Demi Lardner and Tom Walker offering up four nights as a team. In there too is Daniel Sloss, who sold out the Edinburgh Fringe as a teenager, as well as Craig Hill, Ross Noble, Paul Foot, and Lauren Pattison.
Back by popular demand, You Am I’s This is Spinal Tap Tribute show will be joining Sydney Comedy Festival’s massive 2019 program.
From the local talent pool expect the amazing Fiona O’Loughlin along with Joel Creasey, Becky Lucas, Jimeoin, Matt Okine, Christian Hull, and Tommy Little, just to name a few.
Performing alongside the comedy giants, this year’s program also features 12 emerging comedians including Ange Lavoipierre, Michael Shafar, and Ibis.
Once again the Marrickville Factory Theatre will act as the festival’s hub; playing host to some of the best names in comedy from April 22 to May 19. The festivities are set to kick off with gala events at the Sydney Opera House, Enmore Theatre, Riverside Theatres and The Concourse.
