How many times have you spun Currents since it dropped in July 2015? Become re-obsessed with Tame Impala’s long-awaited Collectors Edition.
Welp, I guess I’m listening to Currents again today.
On the day it turned one year old in July 2016, Tame Impala teased a deluxe edition of their third LP on Instagram. It seems those promises have finally been fulfilled, as the band have shared a video announcing a Collectors Edition box set.
The Collectors Edition will be pressed on red marbled vinyl, including a 12” featuring two remixes, plus a 7” and a flexidisc with three B-sides. Also included in the box will be alternate artwork, a poster and a limited edition zine featuring original notes on the making of the album.
As icing on the cake, Tame Impala also shared this epic video of Kevin Parker jamming away at a Currents cut in one hell of a home studio. Suss it out:
