IK Multimedia have just released their Creator Series – a collection of four mobile-friendly tools perfect for capturing high-quality audio on the go.

iRig Stream is an audio interface that allows you to record or stream on your mobile device – perfect for musicians, podcasters, and content creators. With optimum compatibility, the line-level RCAs connect to most rigs, and the included Lightning, USB-C, and USB-A cables connect to most smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

The headphone/microphone jack offers direct monitoring as well as the ability to add a voice-over. Loopback allows the user to play back music on the device while they stream.

If you’re looking to record audio with minimal background noise, then the iRig Mic Video is for you. A gold-sputtered, digital shotgun microphone for iPhone, iPad, Android, and DSLR cameras, the 24-bit 96 kHz converters ensure a clean signal, cutting out all background noise.

For a different option, iRig Mic Cast HD is a mic whose front, rear, and figure 8 pickup patterns enable the capturing of audio in any situation. The mic has two gold-sputtered capsules and 24-bit 96 kHz digital converters.  It also has a magnetic design that allows it to be easily mounted onto a mobile device.

And finally, the iRig Mic Cast 2 is the most affordable and compact option of the three mics, perfect for clear recordings for everything, from YouTube videos, to Instagram live streams, to Skype and FaceTime audio. The dual-microphone arrangements offer omnidirectional recording, and the microphone boasts the same magnetic design, as well as compatibility with most apps on iPhone, iPad, and Android.

The iRig Stream and the iRig Mic Cast HD are both about $150 AUD, whereas the iRig Mic Video is about $190 AUD, and the iRig Mic Cast 2 is about $75 AUD.

The iRig Creator Series is available now for preorder from the IK Multimedia website and will ship in early November.
