The Hills are Alive festival unveil their first 2019 Headliner!

Prepare yourself, iconic homegrown festival The Hills are Alive is coming back in 2019, and they’ve just announced their first killer headliner to kick it all off.

Taking place in the perfectly picturesque hills of South Gippsland, Victoria from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 March. This year is bound to be the biggest celebration of promising Aussie talent yet! Not to mention, it’s BYO. How. Good.

The Hills are Alive festival have kick started the celebrations with the much anticipated announcement of their Aussie headliner and indie pop royalty Vera Blue!

Vera Blue saw huge success with both her debut EP and her latest studio album Perennial, which quickly cemented her in our hearts as the incredibly talented sweetheart we always love to watch.

The iconic young artist has been a festival staple since she first started gracing our main stages only a few years ago. Now the indie goddess will be venturing to The Hills are Alive festival to bring some of her ethereal folk-pop magic to Victoria.

Closing the gap between musicians and music lovers, the Hills are Alive have been known to foster some of the best emerging talents in the scene since 2009!

The festival has showcased Aussie music icons to be Courtney Barnett, Vance Joy, Amy Shark and Tash Sultana and many more brilliant local acts.

As well as being the most aesthetically pleasing festival you’ll come across, rolling hills and all, the festival has selected a whole bunch of side acts that are filled to the brim with love and effort. You and your mates bound to be stoked the whole damn time.

The Hills are Alive have organisers have included a Tiny Rave Cave, Bar at the Edge of the World, yoga, an epic school bus serving scones and lemonade, karaoke, hectic ping pong comps and brilliant comedians.
