Pigalle, Ill-Studio and Nike just made the prettiest basketball court in the world even prettier

The basketball court at 22 Rue Duperré in Paris has been famed for its colourful guise, first installed in 2009 by Stephane Ashpool and Nike. Since then Ashpool’s fashion brand Pigalle, Nike and design agency Ill-Studio have undertaken multiple iterations of this technicolour treat.

We reckon this is the best yet.

Collaborating with Ill-Studio and Nike, fashion brand Pigalle has been redesigning the Rue Duperré basketball court since 2009.

This latest design has a focus on fuchsia, with Pigalle’s usual logo emblazoned centre court. In an Instagram post, Ill-Studio made the statement “From us to the youth… Ill-Studio & Pigalle with the precious support of Nike.”
