Senior residents of the Wesley House nursing home in Texas are living it up in quarantine with temporary tattoos and buckets of drinks.
The pensioners at this nursing home are having an absolute hoot during quarantine, and to be honest, I am a little jealous.
The senior residents live in Wesley House Assisted Living in Hillsboro Texas, and as we know, because of their level of risk, they have been advised to stay isolated during the coronavirus pandemic.
So the staff at the assisted living facility are mixing it up during these confusing and difficult quarantine times by offering some unconventional pastimes. In the hopes of preserving some sense of normality, the staff continued to host ‘happy hour’, this time serving up both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages and supplying a temporary tattoo station.

The nursing home residents took it in turns to enter into the dining area where they could remain for around 10 minutes to enjoy the thrill of getting a tattoo and having a drink, before having to go back to their own rooms. The staff would then disinfect the tables, chairs and any utensils before inviting the next round of residents into the party.

Wesley House shared a post on Facebook with images of an ice bucket full of drinks, the temporary tattoo station, and a lot of beaming residents showing off their new ink. The caption read, “This quarantine has got us going wild! Had a few drinks and got tattoos!”
Bless.
