The wait is over! Ah Trees magnetic, psyched out new single is finally here

Legendary up and comers from the wild west of Aus, Ah Trees are back with their fresh, out of this world single, How Long Must We Wait.

The Perth based quintet began making waves across Australia with their epic collection of new wave, psych pop-funk singles and an absolutely killer EP. But this new track is something else entirely.

Perth based band, Ah Trees have returned with their utterly magnetic, psyched out new single, How Long Must We Wait, and it’s blowing our damn minds.

Ah Trees delve into a mouth-watering combination of high energy hooks, the otherworldly, transportational pull of psych rock melodies, and a plentiful dash of new wave hypnosis.

“A fuzzed out, low-fi affair that sees the band delving deeper than ever into their new-wave roots. With dirty bass lines, ethereal guitar-work and hooks that will cling to your brain for days, the band have described this work as their most cohesive yet.”

How Long Must We Wait was aptly named after the widespread anticipation felt by the band as they were stunted with a series of unfortunate events stemming throughout the year.

Lucky for us, they’ve pulled together to create their most exciting release to date. We. Are. Stoked.

Referring to a challenging year whereas a band they’ve been plagued with illness, injury, bad news and separation. Though not ones to dwell on despair that energy has fuelled the fire for their latest offering, produced by the band themselves with mixing and mastering by longtime collaborator Cameron Parkin”

Listened to Ah Trees new track below!!

Following their debut release of Bodies in 2016, in last few short years on the scene, they’ve supported the likes of Northeast Party House, Gypsy & The Cat, Jeremy Neale and Katy Steele.

The boys have also played Western Australia’s most iconic venues, but it’s safe to say we are itching for a full Aussie tour.

How Long Must We Wait was a great taster of what the Perthian psych lords have to offer, and rumour is they’re not done for 2018 just yet…..
