Father of the Bride has topped the Billboard 200 albums chart and has sold 138,000 equivalent album units.

These impressive sales numbers include 119,000 in sales and 23 million song streams—according to Billboard and The New York Times. Those numbers gave Father of the Bride the best sales week for a rock album in the entirety of 2019 so far.

Vampire Weekend had a tough act to follow with 2013’s Modern Vampires of the City and 2010’s Contra being incredible chart toppers. But, Father of The Bride has further proven the band’s incredible skills and musicality, breaking their own records and 2019 records while they’re at it.

If you haven’t already checked out the album, make sure you do. For now, check out one of their new tracks The Life.
