Vampire Weekend’s new video This Life is black, white and stacked with cameos

Vampire Weekend have shared the clip for This Life, a single from their latest album Father Of The Bride.

This Life was directed by Emmett Malloy who is no stranger to Vampire Weekend productions, having previously worked with the band on Harmony Hall and Giving Up the Gun.

The black and white video follows Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig, Danielle Haim and Ariel Rechtshaid as they hitch a ride through the Californian desert, coming across a range of characters along the way (including Twitter-famous Jovan Hill) before ending up at Passover Sedar, hosted by the one and only Mark Ronson.

Vampire Weekend’s newest album Father Of The Bride dropped on May 3rd, debuting at number one on the Billboard Top 100. It features appearances by Steve Lacy, Danielle Haim, Hans Zimmer, and more – and you should definitely listen to it.
