HAIM are no strangers to the odd cover or two. Earlier this year they performed a Selena Gomez track on the BBC. And more recently, the kicked goals on triple J’s ‘Like A Version’ pulling off a solid rendition of Shania Twain’s That Don’t Impress Me Much.
Last week, the trio also appeared on BBC Radio 1’s Piano Session with Huw Stephens, where they breezed through a delicate cover of The Strokes’ track I’ll Try Anything Once.

The song is actually an early version of You Only Live Once, the opening track and third single from First Impressions of Earth, which is why it might sound oddly familiar. The demo was released in 2006 as a b-side to Heart In A Cage.
