Clearly a dig at finger-less characters, watch a synth virtuoso cover the Game of Thrones theme

Glasys, the Reddit-friendly keyboard freak who recently went viral after T-Pain asked him to collaborate, has straight nailed it once again with a dynamite synth cover of the Game of Thrones theme tune.

Using a Prophet 6, Nord Stage 2 EX, Akai MPK Mini II, XLN Audio Addictive Drums 2, and a Steinberg Retrologue, the US-based musician engages in his usual finger-drumming, digit-twisting ways.

Just check it. This guy is a true-born machine.

Complete with finger drumming and his usual command of synth steeze, Glasys has utterly nailed a cover of the Game of Thrones theme song.

Now I can barely play two melodies at the same time, which is why it’s so damn mind-blowing that this guy can pull off leads, pads, bass and percussion all at once. Fine, I’m just jealous.

Given how many characters in the brutal series are missing one, many or all of their fingers, isn’t it in a little bit of bad taste? We won’t be seeing Theon Greyjoy or Jaime Lannister attempting their own covers anytime soon, that much I can promise.

Game of Thrones season seven returns today, the penultimate season of the world-renowned HBO blockbuster.
