Ainsley Farrell was the most recent guest at the Live at Enmore studios. Simply coming with an electric guitar, she performed an entrancing version of her song Leaving and proved that she is a force of nature.
She’s been a long-time favourite of Happy Mag, appearing as a 2019 Needle in the Hay finalist as well as performing live at the recent 5th Birthday Party celebrations. And in the studio, she showed why she’s developed a reputation for incredibly moving performances. 
Ainsley Farrell was the most recent guest at the Live at Enmore studios. She delivered a soaring and powerful performance of her track, Leaving.
Before she plugged in, Farrell reflected on the song’s inspiration:
“I’m from the U.S., so it’s about being split and torn between two places and working through living apart from people you love.”
Beginning with haunting guitar arpeggios, Farrell gradually warmed into the track. The ever-expanding drama of her vocals is something to behold.
