Newcastle duo Boo Seeka recently hit the Live at Enmore studios. They performed a blistering version of their fresh single, Days Get Better.
Comprised of Ben Gumbleton and Michael May, Boo Seeka has risen to prominence in recent years and has become a staple of the live circuit, with a host of dancefloor-friendly electropop tracks in their catalogue.
And while the Boo Seeka session was only populated by two people, it was far from a stripped-back performance. Complete with electric guitar, synth and MPC, the performance of the track was full of lush and dynamic sound.
“We wrote it in isolation in Queensland, with everything going on“, said Ben Gumbleton on the origins of the new track. “Michael was playing 1901 by Phoenix in one room and then I heard Delirium by Ladyhawke and it just kinda mashed together“.
