Watch Flight of The Conchords perform a song from their long-awaited return to HBO

Last night, New Zealand’s “fourth most popular folk duo” Flight of the Conchords appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to chat about their upcoming special for HBO, Flight of the Conchords: Live in London

Bret and Jermaine chatted to Colbert about becoming dads and getting older, being famous in public (or not, back home), and what they’ve been up to since the second season of their show finished in 2009.

Watch Flight of The Conchords perform a song from their upcoming HBO special, Flight of the Conchords: Live in London.

They also played a cut from Flight of the Conchords: Live in London, a new-ish tune called Father and Son, which you can watch below.

The new live special will mark the duo’s first appearance on HBO since 2009. Their last album, I Told You I Was Freaky, was released that same year and fans have been eagerly awaiting a return ever since.

Flight of the Conchords: Live in London was filmed at London’s Eventim Apollo earlier this year and will air on October 6th on HBO. Keep your eyes peeled for more info on where you can watch it outside of the U.S.
