Songwriter Michael Kiwanuka has released a stirring animated video for his 2019 track Light. Originally released on his sixth album Kiwanuka, the British artist sets his song within the ongoing Black Lives Matter movement, showcasing stunning visuals which call for justice, peace, and equality. “I’ve spoken about it in my music but I wanted to declare in words that I’m so proud to be Black,” Kiwanuka stated about the video.
