This week saw the premiere of South Park season 21, which, as per usual, tackled a range of social and political issues, such as the harrowing events in Charlottesville and the proliferation of White Nationalism in the States. It also butchered a Kendrick Lamar song, hillbilly style.

As CoS note, “The episode was a commentary on the rise of White Nationalism and the narrative that automation is at least partially to blame for the discontent felt by some American demographics.”
One particular scene saw the character Jim Bob as an Amazon digital home assistant incarnate, who is prompted to play a Kendrick Lamar tune. The result is a hillbilly parody of HUMBLE, a cut from his 2017 masterpiece DAMN.
