Wide Open Space drop their huge first 2020 lineup announcement

Wide Open Space is one of the best festivals in Australia. Held out in Central Australia, the festival is an oasis of music and art. Even before they announced who was going to be playing the 2020 installment of the festival, we knew it was going to be a good time.

But now, they’ve dropped the first lineup announcement, and all our suspicions have been confirmed — this is going to be awesome.

Wide Open Space festival have dropped their first lineup announcement for 2020, and ooh boy, this is going to be amazing.

Leading the charge will be none other than Sampa The Great, who’ll be joined by Aussie hip-hop legend Briggs. If you’ve never seen Sampa live, we strongly recommend you change that. The Australian/Zambian singer-songwriter is one of the most consistently dynamic live acts in the country, and all music fans should make a point of checking out her live show.

Also joining in on the party this May will be electro wizrd Opiuo, BIGSOUND stand-outs Black Rock Band, and Chris Munky, among a stack of others.

Wide Open Space will be going down at Ross River Resort in the NT from May 1st – May 3rd. Grab tickets and info here.
