After a one-year hiatus, Wide Open Space Festival is making a grand comeback in 2023, on Eastern Arrernte Country, from April 28 – 30. Celebrating its 12th iteration across three spectacular days of live music, arts, workshops and diverse performances, prepare yourselves for the ultimate celebration of creativity, connection and the irrepressible human spirit!
Drawing from a range of inspirations, sub-cultures and styles, expect anything from cutting-edge electronic sounds, banging live hip hop, deep acoustic meditations and innovative music from across the globe. Live bands, DJs, producers and eclectic collectives will enthrall you with a full array of soundscapes.
Held at Ross River Resort, a scenic hour drive from Mpwartne/Alice Springs, the WOS Festival has been attracting audiences to this stunning desert paradise hideaway for 11 years. The venue hosts cabins, showers, shady River Red Gums, epic views, a well-stocked licensed bar and even a pool… Warm days, Cool nights. Just perfect.
The arts, performance and workshop program compliment the vibrancy of the desert, offering a colourful spectacle that will have you amazed and amused. WOS is spread over 3 stages and offers burlesque, cabaret, spoken word, exhibitions, roving performance and much more.
