Celebrating the boundless creativity of Darebin, the pocket in Melbourne’s North that boasts the suburbs of Thornbury, Northcote, Reservoir, Preston, Macleod, Fairfield, Bundoora, Alphington and Kingsbury, is the municipality’s annual Darebin Music Feast.

Back for another year, Darebin Music Feast boasts an inspiring program and conference agenda of artists, musicians, films and speakers. To celebrate, we’re giving away a double passe to the opening night!
Kicking off the program is a special night of live music and film. Claudia Sangiorgi Dalimore and Michelle Grace Hunter’s documentary Her Sound, Her Story will premiere at the opening, exposing the personal experiences, histories and significant and social impacts of women in the Australian music industry.
The documentary features more than 45 artists spanning six decades, including Jen Cloher, Mojo Juju, Tina Arena, Mama Kin, Nai Palm, Emma Donovan and Zan Rowe.
Following the screening is SONIC / ASCENT, an immersive interaction between music, art and creative visions, curated by ThickWave and LISTEN. Featuring Alice Skye with the Picca Choir, Girl Zone, Jesswar and Wahe, SONIC / ASCENT is an interdisciplinary celebration of visionary artists reshaping the future.
