Queen’s A Night at the Opera has just received a deluxe reissue. Vinyl lovers, get your hands on the recut, “multi-colour galaxy vinyl” version of the seminal album.
Coinciding with the release of the new Queen biopic starring Rami Malek, Vinyl Me, Please have announced a deluxe reissue of Queen’s 1975 album A Night at the Opera as part of their “essentials” collection for November.
Audiophiles rejoice – Vinyl Me, Please have released a deluxe edition of Queen’s A Night at the Opera on 180-gram “multi-colour galaxy vinyl” recut at Abbey Road Studios.
A Night at the Opera was the most expensive album to be produced at the time it was released in November 1975 – no wonder, considering Freddie Mercury was always back in the studio adding another “Galileo” to Bohemain Rhapsody.
“Like few other bands before or since, Queen understood how to weave everything they loved — opera, prog rock, showtunes, Dixieland jazz, arena rock, etc. — into a cohesive and singular sound,” said Vinyl Me, Please’s magazine writer, Susannah Young.
The vinyl also comes with a collectible art print and cocktail recipe, as per Vinyl Me, Please’s packages.
