Thundamentals return with a hypnotic, soul-elevating single, Lifted Up, ahead of their sixth studio record, All This Life.
Aussie hip hop trio, Thundamentals have just released their thrilling, anthemic new single, Lifted Up. It’s the second track to be unveiled from their highly-anticipated sixth album, All This Life, which is slated for release on November 11 via Virgin Music Australia.
Keeping you entranced from start to finish with its invigorating and sweet melody, infectious groove and commanding vocals, Lifted Up will have you reaching for the replay button and chanting the lyrics to the infectious hook off by heart in no time: “Cause I’ve been lifted up, like an airplane. So if you don’t wish me luck, I’ll still find my way.”
Speaking of the track, Thundamentals say, “our second single, Lifted Up, is an ode to backing yourself against all odds. Forget waiting around for other people’s approval, you have the talent and determination to take flight regardless. Self elevation baby!”
Lifted Up is paired with a colourful, trip-inducing visualiser, produced by James Hornsby. As described by the group, it’s “the perfect visual accompaniment for this psych-rock inspired lil ditty. We hope you feel the vibe of Lifted Up!”
Thundamentals consists of Tuka, Jeswon and DJ Morgs. The Blue Mountains-hailing trio will be launching their next LP, All This Life across streaming platforms on Friday, November 11. Pre-order the album here. Stream Lifted Up via Spotify below.
