Phoebe Bridgers made her debut as ‘Sally’ in a live concert version of The Nightmare Before Christmas musical.
Phoebe Bridgers delivered a striking performance as ‘Sally’ from Tim Burton’s 1993 animated musical, The Nightmare Before Christmas at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on Friday (December 9), alongside Danny Elfman.
Performing Sally’s Song and Kidnap The Sandy Claws, the American songstress brought Sally to life; a character originally played by Catherine O’Hara. Alongside her were Danny Elfman and Ken Page, who reprised their original roles as Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie. The trio were backed up by the BBC Concert Orchestra.
Bridgers’ debut as Sally follows last year’s live concert rendition of The Nightmare Before Christmas, during which Billie Eilish performed as the iconic character.
This year, The Nightmare Before Christmas live concert featuring Bridgers ran across two nights; Friday (December 9) and Saturday (December 10). Watch fan-shot footage of her incredible performances via Twitter below.
