The AFL is back with a stellar lineup revealed for pre-match entertainment

The AFL Grand Final returns to the MCG for the first time since 2019 and is set to bring in the finals with performances by some of Australia and the world’s finest acts.

The AFL halftime show is set to be a standout celebration of homegrown, and international music. Preparing to delight the audiences live and from the screens at home, fans can anticipate the rocking tones of Goanna, and Indie pop darling G Flip.

Aussie rock band Goanna, has collaborated with First Nations artists Christine Anu, Emma Donovan, Tasman Keith, and William Barton, to become a super group, will be joining the stellar lineup of Katie Noonan, The Temper Trap, Budjerah, Ngaiire, Mike Brady AM, G Flip, and Robbie Williams for the Telstra Half-Time Entertainment at the 2022 Toyota AFL Grand Final.

Robbie Williams who was announced as the headliner for 2022 AFL Grand Final earlier in the year, said he was excited to be joining an all-Australian line-up. Sharing “I am so excited to be performing for all the fans, on the hallowed turf of the MCG, for the biggest game of the year. I’m really looking forward to performing with a cast of very talented local Australian musicians and I can’t wait to see you all on that last Saturday in September. If it goes well, I might even put my hand up to be the next CEO of the AFL.”
