Brisbane songstress Airling has been killing it since taking out the triple J Unearthed comp back in 2014, releasing some amazing tracks and collaborating with the likes of #1 Dad’s and Japanese Wallpaper, now she has a new single to add to her list of accolades.
The first taste of the wonderful Airling since her 2014 EP Love Gracefully, Stallin’, was premiered on triple J last night. She told Linda Marigliano that she “really just wanted to get all our RnB feels out,” continuing, “I’ve been listening to quite a bit of RnB goddesses like Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, even Beyonce… I just really wanted to get away from the electronic pop side of things and do something really truly sexy and a bit 90s RnB.”
