You may recall the other week a petition had gone online calling for the pride of Condoblin Shannon Noll to perform at this year’s Groovin the Moo festival. That petition currently has over 5000 signatures strong. Now Aussie rapper Allday has decided to raise the stakes and has invited Noll into the studio to record a cover Angels Brought Me Here together.
In case you weren’t aware, Angels Brought Me Here was Guy Sebastian’s victory song after being crowned the winner of Australian Idol back in 2003. Taking to his Facebook page last night, Allday posted a passionate message supporting the GTM campaign and inviting Noll to cover the song with him.
Considering this is the same man who sampled his own fart and then rapped over it there is reason to initially think this is a piss take. But hey, flights from Condoblin to Melbourne ain’t cheap. Alldeezy is serious, and we’re really hoping this actually happens.
