An epic four-hour long, Scorsese-produced Grateful Dead documentary is coming. It’s called Long Strange Trip. Watch the trailer below.

Directed by Amir Bar-Lev and brought to us by Amazon, the film is called Long Strange Trip. As Noisey note, the doco is set to be chock-full of “new interviews, never-seen-before footage, concert performances, [and] acid flashbacks” that chronicle the Dead’s entire career “from their conception in Palo Alto, California, to the 1995 death of de facto leader Jerry Garcia and beyond.”

In true Grateful Dead fashion, it looks like its going to a long, detailed examination of one of the cornerstones of psychedelia and 60s counterculture.
