Calling all NSW regional music legends, this one’s for you. MusicNSW have rolled out applications for their pilot Regional Music Officer program in 2019.

The job is a 12-month program that seeks to employ people involved and passionate about their local regional music scene. The aim of the game? To build “capacity and relationships between local industry, artists and council.”

MusicNSW are offering regional music legends the chance to increase access through their Regional Music Officer role. Sounds like something you’d do? Get on it!

MusicNSW are looking for people who are passionate and plugged-in to their local music scene. There are four positions available across regional NSW.

“Working with and reporting to MusicNSW, each RMO will provide advice, support and resources to artists and industry based in regional areas who might not otherwise have access to MusicNSW’s services.”

If there’s anything we need more, it’s increased access for regional music to make its way to the big smoke. This is such an important role for anyone interested in their communities, and with so much untapped talent, why not being the one to do that?
