The year must have flown by because the ARIA Awards are just around the corner. This year, the iconic event is set to be absolutely massive.
With just over a week to go until the 2019 ARIA Awards, event organisers have just announced a huge lineup of award presenters as well as some pretty impressive performers.
The ARIA Awards are the flagship event on the Australian music calendar, celebrating the incredible music that our very own local artists have created.
This year we’ll be riding on the horses, because Aussie icon Daryl Braithwaite is set to be presenting an ARIA award on the star-spangled night. Along with Braithwaite is international pop queen Carly Rae Jepsen, another huge personality attending the Star Sydney for what is set to be a massive year for the ARIAs.
The night is sure to be splattered with humour, with radio personalities such as Matt & Alex, Veronica & Lewis, Linda Marigliano, and Dylan Alcott also signing on to present awards.
Not only have the ARIA Awards equipped themselves with fabulous presenters, but they’re spoiling us with some pretty stellar performances. The stage will be graced by the likes of Aussie locals Guy Sebastian, Hilltop Hoods, Human Nature, The Teskey Brothers, Morgan Evans, and Thelma Plum. Also joining the stage will be international artists Khalid, Dua Lipa and Halsey.
To top it off fans are getting excited to see a performance by Tones and I, who has quickly risen to fame this year with her record-breaking track Dance Monkey. The mega-hit has now spent 16 consecutive weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart, setting a historic new record as the longest-running #1 since the charts were created in 1988.
