In the windows of an abandoned power plant in Croatia, Barcelona-based modern artist Pejac has completed a mind-blowing installation.
As part of a residency with the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, this piece uses the negative space created by broken windows to depict a flock of birds fleeing from a boy with a slingshot.
Using a canvas you wouldn’t expect, Barcelona’s Pejac has created an installation from the skeleton of a power plant. His art in broken glass is stunning, and if you weren’t careful you may have missed it.
The imagery of birds were broken into the glass of the factory, while the silhouette of the boy with his slingshot was painted on by Pejac with black acrylic. Find extra images of the piece below, and see more of Pejac’s artwork on his website.
