Ocean Alley are an Australian psychedelic rock band from Sydney's Northern Beaches, made up of Baden Donegal, Angus Goodwin, Lach Galbraith, Mitch Galbraith, Nic Blom and Tom O'Brien. Active since 2013, the six-piece built an early following on a cruisey fusion of psych, rock and reggae, releasing the In Purple EP in 2015 and debut album Lost Tropics in 2016 before selling out their first headline tours of Australia and New Zealand.
Second album Chiaroscuro brought chart success, and in 2018 the band topped triple j's Hottest 100 with the single 'Confidence' — momentum that carried into a 22-show sold-out international tour closing at Amsterdam's Paradiso, and a place among Australia's ten favourite live acts in a 2019 triple j listener poll. Lonely Diamond followed in 2020, with fourth album Low Altitude Living arriving in 2022.
The band's album Love Balloon, released in September 2025, marked their first collaboration with producer Nick DiDia (Bruce Springsteen, Powderfinger) and a return to a more stripped-back, emotionally raw sound, preceded by the singles 'Left of the Dealer' and the title track. In February 2026, Ocean Alley headlined Party in the Paddock at Quercus Park in Tasmania.
