The Arctic Monkeys are an English rock band who formed in Sheffield in 2002. The group is fronted by singer and lead songwriter Alex Turner. They signed to Domino Records in 2005 and two months later I Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor hit #1 on the Charts. Their debut album, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not (2006), is frequently cited as one of the best of all time.
Their 2013 album AM, produced by James Ford, was widely acclaimed selling 1.5 million copies in the US alone. Following a brief one year hiatus The Arctic Monkeys returned with Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino. While it was their lowest selling album ever, it was critically acclaimed for it's agile lyricism and original concept.
