Beyoncé is almost completely naked on her new album cover

Beyoncé has released the cover artwork for her forthcoming album Renaissance and it is as fabulous as the Queen herself.

Beyoncé took to Instagram to show off her stunning new artwork for her upcoming album Renaissance which is due to drop on July 29.

The artwork shows Beyoncé nearly completely nude with metal covering parts of her body, sitting on top of a glowing horse that seems to be made of lights.

Fans have drawn comparisons of the new art to John Collier’s 19th-century painting Lady Godiva.

It’s safe to say, everyone is absolutely delighted by the gorgeous image with one fan commenting: “OKAY QUEEN OF THE WORLD”.

Bey wrote that she hopes the album “inspires you to wiggle” and if the single she has already released is anything to go by, Beyoncé’s hopes will come true.

“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking.” Queen Bey captioned the image.

“A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”

It’s highly unusual for Beyoncé to caption her Instagram posts and the odd behaviour did not go unnoticed by fans.

“OH YOU WRITING CAPTIONS NOW?! Is this what Renaissance did to you? Chile, we finna be on one!” One commenter wrote.

Renaissance will be the hit maker’s first solo studio album since her 2016 release, Lemonade.

The lead single, Break My Soul has shown us this album is likely going to be hit after hit and there’s no doubt that it will get you moving.

Renaissance is out July 29.
