Punk legend Billy Idol has announced his long-awaited return to Aussie shores today! For the first time in five long, Billy-less years, the veteran of all things platinum blond will grace three Australian cities for a few extravagant shows.
The Rebel Yell and White Wedding hitmaker will make his headline return at two iconic Australian Stadiums. The Horden Pavilion will host Idol in Sydney, with the favour being returned at the open-air Riverstage in Brisbane. Of course, his return to Australia wouldn’t be complete without dominating at least one major sporting event.
Platinum blond punk rocker Billy Idol is making his Australian return with three massive shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne!
Details are tight for now, but the legend has been announced as one of the first acts to appear at next years 2020 Australian Open. Let’s hope the tennis crew have their shit together a bit more than that time Idol (sorta) performed at the 2002 NRL grand final…
Supported by Melbourne rockers The Delta Riggs and elusive Sydney up-and-comers The Kids, these massive stadium shows won’t be ones to miss. You don’t wanna be the only one dancing with yourself, so keep these pre-sale links handy and catch Billy & co in 2020.
