Aussie actress and presenter Bindi Irwin has snagged a big win taking home the trophy after winning Dancing With The Stars in the US. In what was an emotional performance, Irwin scored a perfect 30 from the judges, clenching her the win.
Young Irwin’s journey to US television’s dance glory has been a long one, even including the controversial order by a judge to see late father Steve Irwin’s death certificate in order for his daughter to claim the prize money she earned from her time in the competition.

Dedicating her journey to her late father, the 17 year old said “Here I am given this opportunity to remember moments in my life that I never thought I’d really be able to look at and smile,” she said…I never thought I’d be given that chance”. Her dance partner Derek Hough was impressed with her performance, saying “She looks at the challenge in the face and she smiles at it.”
