Don’t worry, your October culture fix just got sorted with an exciting new multi-sensory hub from Bombay Sapphire and Performance Space.
The Bombay Sapphire Canvas Bar is part of Liveworks Festival of Experimental Art, and will entail an interactive bar experience accompanied by an exciting array of live music and guest talks.

The 11-day program ensures the festival is just long enough to provide you with enough opportunity to get there, but short enough to deem it exclusive to the lucky ones who prioritise their attendance. It’s a time you won’t want to miss out on, running from Thursday, October 17 till Sunday, October 27 at Carriageworks.
Bombay Sapphire Canvas Bar will be presenting the new Bombay Sapphire gin and tonic ready-to-drink, along with a specialised menu of equally satisfying G&Ts and limited edition cocktails.
The late-night music program, Sonic Nightcap, has collected a highly diverse cohort of electrifying musicians, so there’s truly something for everyone. Opening the event will be Rainbow Chan and Alex Ward’s electronic two-piece, DIN, and DJ Sovereign Trax. Other compelling acts such as award-winning composer and sound artist Alyx Dennison and Brooklyn based harpist, producer and vocalist ELSZ are set to play on other nights.
On Sunday October 20, Bombay Sapphire will host an intimate artist series called Live Sparks, bringing unheard insights to the hub’s featured works. It will be a highly exclusive conversational setting featuring artist and Indigenous independent choreographer Vicki Van Hout, confronting musings from talented local performance artist Betty Grumble, and much more.
Celebrating the fifth year of Liveworks Festival of Experimental Arts, Bombay Sapphire’s Canvas Bar will be an event to remember.
