Bon Iver have announced a 2020 Australian tour!

Hold onto your fedoras, because Bon Iver is coming back down under in 2020.

Justin Vernon and the princes of indie nap time music are returning to our shores for the first tour since 2012 and our beards are just bristling with excitement.

What’s even cooler is Bon Iver will be kicking off their first tour in eight years by headlining the infamous Dark Mofo Festival in Hobart.

Their fourth studio album, i,i, was the heavily anticipated follow-up to the beautifully bold 2016 release, 22, A Million. Tickets go on sale 5th December, and with the band playing their biggest Australian venues yet, they’re sure to move quickly so jump on that pre-sale release.

In the meantime, satisfy all your indie-folk needs and listen to Bon Iver’s first album whilst lamenting former former romantic failings as you stare into traffic; the passing of cars symbolising the passage of time. Maybe stand waist-deep in a lily-pad strewn creek gazing up at the wisps of cloud longing for the heartache to be over soon as 22, A Million plays in your ears. One way or another, keep yourself occupied till December 5th.
