Fresh off the release of their debut album, Melbourne lords of fuzz Cakefight have announced a sprawling tour of Australia and New Zealand to deliver their deliciously infectious, scuzzy sounds directly to you.
The two-piece will be tearing through material from their self-titled debut LP, released not too long ago at the end of January.
Masters of chaotic garage pop, Cakefight are hitting the road, and they’re bringing their fuzzed-out new material along for the ride.
The album, clocking in at 26 minutes, is an all-out assault of raw and powerful garage-pop, that is sure to win you over in its opening seconds.
Having already maintained an intense gigging schedule playing extensively across Victoria as well as New Zealand, Cakefight are no strangers to the stage. In other words they’re more than prepared to bring their raucous live show to your city.
If you’re from New Zealand, you fortunately won’t be waiting long. A string of NZ dates occupy the second half of February, while the Australian tour takes place across March and April.
