Song to blast in the car: Chingy (It’s Whatever) by Digga D

I would say this is my favourite song to blast in the car because first of all I love Digga D and also it’s just such a fun song. It really gives off this vibe where you just want to rap to every word in the song – and also the beat is fire when listening to it through car speakers.

I also love the fact that it is a play on the single Right Thurr by Chingy.

Song to listen to when you cry: Visions of Gideon by Sufjan Stevens and White Ferrari by Frank Ocean

When it comes to both of these songs, if I hear the first one to two seconds of it I immediately start bawling my eyes out because they both have really deep meanings. With Visions of Gideon, I actually found it from one of my favourite movies, Call Me By Your Name, and I just remember the end scene, where the song is playing… I guess every time  it just reminds me of that end scene and the whole movie in general.

White Ferrari, I always cry to this song. A lot of Frank Ocean songs makes me cry but this one definitely takes first place, because of the lyrics and a specific line that goes: “I care for you still and I will forever that was a part of the deal”… that line always gets me.

Song to pre-game to: Drunk & Nasty by Pierre Bourne ft. Sharc & Juicy by Doja Cat

Both of these songs put me in a mood where I just want to have fun, party, and honestly just dance and have a good time.

Songs to chill to: Daddy Issues by The Neighbourhood & De’vils by SiR

Both these songs are from completely different genres but they are two of the songs I want to click on what I feel like just relaxing or chilling out going for a night drive.

They just put me in this mood where I feel calm and relaxed

A song that always cheers you up: dothatshit! by Playboi Carti

To be honest, anything Playboi Carti will no doubt cheer me up as soon as I listen to it, but for some reason this is my favourite song to put on when I’m in a bad mood or I’m feeling a bit down. I put this song on to motivate me, put a smile on my face, or to put me in a better mood.

I also feel like the song helps me be proactive, it’s literally in the lyrics. “I’d rather not talk about it and do that shit”, and as soon as I hear that I’m like damn, I need to start working on myself.

Songs that make you feel like a bad bitch: 2 On by Tinashe ft. Schoolboy Q and Promiscuous by Nelly Furtato ft. Timabland

So we have two songs from two baddies, when I have my make-up on and I’m about to leave the house or I need to feel a bit more confident I’ll put these on and they make me feel like I’m on top of the world.

I love both these artists, they make me feel like myself.

Songs that make you feel romantic: Blessed by Daniel Caesar and Tonight by Summer Walker

These two songs make me feel romantic in two different ways. Blessed by Daniel Caesar makes me feel like a lovey-dovey romantic, like I want to have a nice romantic dinner with my partner or I want to stare my partner’s eyes and literally sing this song to them.

The song Tonight by Summer Walker makes me feel very sexy and kind of puts in that “candle on the side of the bed mood”, if you get what I’m saying.

Song to sing to: I’d Rather Go Blind by Etta James

I love Etta James, may she rest in peace, her voice was so amazing. I love singing the song because it shows off my vocal range but also I enjoy singing it because it’s just such a strong song and has a beautiful meaning behind it – it’s actually really sad and just listening to it as well really makes me feel some type of way.

The song is so passionate. This song will always be a song I will sing out loud, it’s a classic.

Favourite albums: Ctrl by SZA and LoVE me NOw (ReLoAdeD) by Tory Lanez

Everyone has their own opinion, but I believe that a good album is an album where you don’t skip any songs. Both of these albums I could never get sick of, I love every song from both albums.

They both put me into different moods. Ctrl makes me want to sing at the top of my lungs to someone if they put me in a mood where I’m upset at them or I’m thinking about a time I’ve been mistreated. The entire LoVE me NOw (ReLoAdeD)  is an album I would put on where I want do stuff around the house or put myself in a better mood as well. I can listen to both these albums every day.

A song you’ll never get sick of: The Way Life Goes by  Lil Uzi Vert ft. Oh Wonder

I’m a huge fan of Lil Uzi Vert but I love that he took the hook from Oh Wonder and put it in this song. I just love this song so much, it’s one of my favourite Lil Uzi Vert songs because it’s something a bit different to his other songs but also it just shows that he can do different things as well with his music.
