Were always stoked to see little hives of activity still vehemently buzzing in the realm of print media. Magazines are wonderful and people should be buying them now more than ever, what with the barrage of digital media that we are all subjected to every day.
Last week, indie mag subscription service Stack celebrated the best in independent print media at the 2016 Stack Awards. Check out the winners below.
Last week in London, indie magazine subscription service Stack hosted its second award ceremony celebrating the best in independent magazines throughout the world.
The winners and commendations were judged by an international panel of magazine heavyweights including Gail Bichler, Design Director of the New York Times Magazine, Debbie Millman, President of AIGA, and Jeremy Leslie, Creative Director of magCulture.
Categories included Magazine of the Year, Editor of the Year, Cover of the year and Student Magazine of the year. You can check out the full list of winners below.
“The standard of entries this year was extremely high across all categories,” says founder of Stack Steven Watson. “It’s been another exceptionally good year for independent publishers, and I’m delighted that the expanded awards have been able to recognise the fantastic work being done by these passionate makers.”
