Counting crows have announced an Australian and NZ tour for 2023.
In addition to headlining next year’s Byron Bay Bluesfest, Counting Crows have announced they intend to play three Australian headline shows in March and April 2023.
Counting Crows are set to bring their critically acclaimed ‘Butter Miracle’ tour following the release of the band’s latest record released in 2021, ‘Butter Miracle, Suite One’.
The run will kick off in Adelaide at Hindley Street Music Hall on Thursday, 30th March. Melbourne, Palais Theatre on Tuesday, 4th April, and Sunday, 9th April, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre.
Tickets for the band’s headline shows will go on sale this Thursday, 10th November at 11 am local time, with a Live Nation pre-sale kicking off a day earlier.
The last time counting Crows were on this side of the equator was in 2015.
Counting Crows will play Christchurch Town Hall, Thursday, March 23, Auckland’s Spark Arena, Saturday, March 25 and Wellington’s Michael Fowler Centre, Monday, March 27. NZ Pre-sales start on November 9 and general tickets go on sale Monday, November 14 at 10 am. Ticket information is available from the Live Nation website.
Next year celebrates the band’s seminal debut album, August and Everything After, which produced the hit singles, ‘Mr. Jones’, and ‘Round Here’. Counting Crows have gone on to release six more albums since August and Everything After arrived. The most recent, Somewhere Under Wonderland, was released in 2014.
