Cowboy Malfoy is set to bring their signature glam pop stylings to Australia

As Cowboy Malfoy gears up for their debut Aussie tour, prepare your goodselves by checking out one of our fav songs of the year ‘Head Start’

Cowboy Malfoy is gearing up for their very first live gigs in Australia, hitting Melbourne and Sydney in late January 2024. Get ready for a two-night musical journey where baroque glam-pop takes center stage.

After dropping hits like ‘How I’d Kill’ and ‘Head Start’ in 2023, Cowboy Malfoy took a deep dive into writing and production. Now, they’re turning the spotlight back on live performances, bringing their unique sound to Aussie ears.

Cowboy Malfoy shares, “I’ve been so caught up in the studio, nerding out on production, and basically being a hermit. But live performances are where the magic happens. I’ve been brewing up some theatrical ideas for the show, and I can’t wait to share it with my Australian fans this January. Plus, I’m itching to escape this NYC winter and soak up some sun.”

Alongside this announcement, they just dropped the music video for ‘Head Start,’ shot on film. The visuals match the song’s vibes, exploring the clash of office life’s dull routine with the natural beauty of a park.

Directed by Yishen Wang, Cowboy Malfoy explains “We wanted to capture the mix of work life and relaxation. Shooting on film for ‘Head Start’ let me play with nostalgia and rediscover a lost joy.”

Cowboy Malfoy’s creative journey is a global ride, with roots in Vietnam and France. Influenced by a mix of artists like Kings Of Convenience and Japanese indie pioneers Lamp, their music is a fusion of cultures and sounds.

As they step into the spotlight for their live performances, Cowboy Malfoy invites you to join them on this new chapter. Get ready for a taste of their evolving creative journey, blending international vibes into the Aussie music scene.
