In 2016, David Gilmour returned to Pompeii’s Amphitheatre for a special two-night concert event, taking place a solid 45 years after he played at the same location for Pink Floyd’s Live At Pompeii concert film.
The concert was a 24-song set that featured classic Pink Floyd tracks such as Shine on You Crazy Diamond and Comfortably Numb, as well solo tracks from his 2015 album Rattle That Lock.
David Gilmour has blessed his fans by making his Live at Pompeii Concert film available to watch for free on YouTube.
Following in the footsteps of his old band Pink Floyd, Gilmour held a long-awaited solo show at the amphitheatre of Pompeii in 2016 in support of his 2015 album Rattle that Lock. Inspired by Pink Floyd’s iconic 1972 Live at Pompeii, Gilmour’s show was subsequently released as a live album and as a concert film. The film was initially shown in theatres for one night only, followed by releases on DVD and Blu-Ray.
Now, Gilmour has made the entire concert film available to stream for free on YouTube, so you can witness the captivating performance from the comfort of your own home. Check out David Gilmore Live at Pompeii below:
