For many people, being in the presence of Nick Cave would be a life-changing experience. For Kiwi bloke James Malcolm it was completely inconsequential. Until he went viral.
Kid posts photo with one of the most recognisable faces ever, Nick Cave, asking “does anyone know who this is?” – goes viral.
The 21-year old first posted a photo at an airport terminal with Nick Cave in the background alongside the caption, “Does anyone know who this is? People keep asking him to sign their t shirt.”

The posts went viral, making their way onto NME, NY Mag, Consequence of Sound amongst many other top publications around the world.
James Malcolm is actually a comedian (self-proclaimed as the Taylor Swift of New Zealand Comedy) so it was most probably a huge piss-take. Either way, it’s pretty fucking hilarious. Well played.
