Eagles of Death Metal are set to return to Australia in 2020

American rock legends Eagles of Death Metal have just announced a string of Australian tour dates for 2020.

Returning to Australia to perform at Bluesfest next year, they will also be appearing in Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne, as well as two cities in New Zealand.

Eagles of Death Metal are returning to our shores next year for Bluesfest and they’ve just announced a series of tour dates which are sure to be a wild time.

The band have released four studio albums to date and toured the world extensively, with the most recent album released in June of this year, titled Eagles of Death Metal Present Boots Electric Performing The Best Songs We Never Wrote. The album consisted of 13 covers of songs that have inspired vocalist Jesse Hughes over the years.

The band are renowned for their live show, combining Bluegrass slide guitar with hard-hitting drum beats and captivating vocals to create a sound that is reminiscent of what “a cross between The Eagles and a death metal band would sound like” – a sentiment which originally inspired the name of the band.

They made headlines in 2015 when a concert of theirs at the Bataclan in Paris was the subject of a tragic terrorist attack. After a brief hiatus the band returned to the live scene.

Presale tickets go on sale at 10am on Thursday the 31st of October, and will be available to the general public at 10am on Monday the 4th of November.
