Larkin Poe have announced a string of huge Bluesfest 2020 sideshows

After selling out their tour earlier this year, American blues sister act, Larkin Poe, have just announced they will be returning to Australia in 2020.

Releasing their album Venom & Faith last year, the duo are known for pushing the boundaries of blues, infusing the traditional with more contemporary elements to create a gritty blend of southern blues and rock n’ roll.

After a sold-out tour last year, electric sister act Larkin Poe are returning to Oz again next year to bring you more of their modern flavoured blues.

The duo have been praised by the likes of Elvis Costello, Keith Urban, Bob Seger, and Russel Crowe, with Forbes calling them “your next favourite performers.”

With a live band consisting of Rebecca Lovell on lead vocals and guitar, and sister Megan on backing vocals and lap steel, their performances feature a few unexpected twists – including an electronic synth pad and horns, plus a tight drum and bass section. All in all the band makes for an incredible live show, bursting with energy. Definitely not one to be missed.

You can catch Larkin Poe next April at The Factory Theatre if you’re in Sydney, and The Corner if you’re in Melbourne. The sisters will also be performing at Bluesfest next year, so if you’re heading to the festival you can see them there too.

Presale tickets for the tour are available from this Thursday the 31st of October, head over to the Bluesfest Touring website for more info.
