Electronic Music Conference is returning for it’s 8th year

Australia’s very own Electronic Music Conference is back for its eighth edition, clearing the way for up and coming electronic masterminds and music makers to connect and share with industry professionals.

Over the course of five days between November 13 and 17, EMC will be held at The Lansdowne in Sydney to give opportunity to those who want to learn the in’s and out’s of the music business.

EMC 2019 has announced they will be back in November to put on a display of workshops, intimate panels and events for the next wave of Australian electronic artists.

EMC curates panels and parties and caters to all the musical senses, with the chance for aspiring artists to be selected to perform in front of industry professionals from around the world, joining previous performers such as Cosmo’s Midnight, Hayden James and Crooked Colours as part of EMC LIVE.

The applications for EMC LIVE are now open, with organisers seeking applications from “any live performer on stage, solo or otherwise – and this includes DJs”. Up to 16 artists will be chosen for the program, with a $500 grant for each performing artist introduced this year. Head here to apply.

“Artists are at the core of events like EMC” says executive producer of EMC, Jane Slingo. “The artists showcasing are essential to the positive experience of EMC’s delegates and EMC LIVE attendees, and discovering new artists is a significant part of why international bookers and industry influences invest their time in attending events like EMC”.
