Eric Andre is dedicating an entire new series to Rapper Warrior Ninja

Along with a new season of his outrageous and often profane skit series The Eric André Show, Adult Swim’s favourite comedian will be launching a new video series dedicated purely to the obscene shenanigans of his low-budget obstacle course for rappers.

Eric Andre will be airing a new video series based purely on the rapper warrior ninja segment which made its first appearance back in 2016.

The skit was created as a whacky low-budget appropriation of popular epic endurance shows like Gladiator and Ninja Warrior. It has featured well-known American rappers like A$AP Rocky and Danny Brown walking blindfolded through a precarious obstacle course of mouse traps and swinging objects while simultaneously having to freestyle the whole way through.

Toward the end, they are confronted by a gymnastic looking warrior, wielding a double-ended batton used to batter unfortunate rappers from away from the final ‘FINISH’ button above a kid-size inflatable pool filled with aqua-snakes.

I know it sounds whack. Just watch the video below, you’ll see what I mean.

The show will be premiering on the new phone streaming platform Quibi, set to launch in April next year.

The Eric Andre Show will also be returning for it its 5th season in 2020 through Adult Swim.
