Eric Andre’s alter ego BLARF has unveiled his full debut album

The cat’s outta the bag and we all know comedian Eric André is behind BLARF, the mysterious artist who just dropped his debut album Cease & Desist.

If the earlier hit single Badass Bullshit Benjamin Buttons Butthole Assassin is anything to go off, you can take a guess at how whack the full album is.

Blarf Eric Andre

Eric André’s unconfirmed alter ego BLARF has shared his new album, Cease & Desist, which is a totally crazy sound experiment.

Released earlier this week via Stones Throw, they tweeted “Announcing BLARF (AKA ?)”,  and the artist himself has tried to remain coy about the identity of the project.

He then later tweeted about a BLARF concert in LA, “people are confusing this guy BLARF on @stonesthrow for me!” he wrote. “Let’s go to his show and see what the fuck is going on here!”

The album is a strange compilation of experimental electronic sounds, cut-and-paste samples and vocal excerpts, and the occasional rock or jazz break down.

To experience the full bonkers scope of André’s mind, the project is free for digital download from Bandcamp or you can order it on vinyl.
